Mark Angelo Askew Cofounder, Author and Bubble Artist Mark Angelo, alumni of the Maryland Institute College of Art, has been introducing the awe and wonder of the art of bubble blowing since 2014.  He is the creative designer of the festive bubble wands used during the show as well as the interactive bubble stations in Bubble Land. Angelo now tours the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area with his wife of 41 years, Marie.

Brenda Marie Askew Cofounder, Codirector and Bubble Artist  Brenda Marie, alumni of BCCC, adds her choreography and codirecting talents to the edutainment program.  Marie especially enjoys performing the musical tri-ring skypainting feature. She also loves sharing her craft table with attendees. Enjoy making personalized Bejeweled bubble wands with Marie and learn fun crafting techniques while attending the the bubble wand craft workshop.

Liquid Art Bubble Light Show At The Marriott In VA

Angelo and Marie's Fantastic Bubble Light Show at the Marriott in VA. Performed by Baltimore liquid artist Mark Angelo Askew and Brenda Marie Askew. What makes our bubble shows unique? It's not just a bubble show. Under low lights, it's a liquid art light show!

The parents and group leaders endured a long week of children's camp activities. They were evidently exhausted but kept carrying on. I was heartily welcomed and enjoyed the sensation that permeated the group long before our arrival and performance. The children remained engaged from start to finish, often jumping to their feet only to be told to take their seats. To their relief they shared in KIB, putting kids inside of bubbles. Once experiencing this for the first time their day was set and our job is done. We hope to be invited back for more liquid art surprises and a fascinating light show under low lights or even the starts

A Wonderful Art Event Straight 'From the Heart'

Opening night of Ania Milo Swann's 'From the Heart' art exhibit was a raving success! The halls swelled with guests and visitors who gazed, chatted and enjoyed the local entertainment.

Ania's canvas painting work is phenomenal. Beautiful abstracts featuring texture and layering application techniques reminiscent of Jackson Pollock. But hers is a very personal statement of life's transitions that echo from her core to the canvas. Who is this person within? No need to guess. She is an artist, poet, and healer of the mind and heart. 

In addition, there are the works of 10 other artists beautifully displayed on the second tier of the gallery.

The best part of the exhibit is that it is ongoing for the full month of February 2018 at the beautiful Skylofts Gallery on Bank Street in Baltimore. https://www.facebook.com/skyloftsgallery/. 

Our 'Art of Blowing Bubbles' was also on exhibit. Live Art in Motion in the form of a beautiful bubble sculpting performance in midair. We even put kids inside bubbles.
